Growing up in Columbia, Missouri, Ryan crossed state lines to attend Kansas State University where he majored in finance and accounting. After spending several years in corporate finance, consulting, and audit, Ryan pivoted his career to financial planning. His passion for education, long-term relationships, and honest advice has guided him throughout his career. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Certified Fiduciary Plan Advisor (CPFA), Ryan focuses on the financial planning process with clients. Through his role as a member of the investment committee, Ryan helps guide the firm’s philosophy and portfolios.
Ryan and his wife, Sam, love spending time with their son Liam. As a growing family, Liam will soon welcome a younger sibling. Much of Ryan’s free time is spent with family both traveling and enjoying time outdoors – golfing, hiking, camping, or a weekend at the lake. He also loves getting back to K-State football games.
Ryan is actively involved in his church and in Rotary, serving in leadership roles in both. He is a founding board member of Hope for Ghana, a non-profit that builds schools, libraries, computer labs, and water wells in the West African country.
